To ensure the best results when ordering DTF transfers or gang sheets, it’s important to upload properly prepared artwork. Following these file preparation guidelines will help ensure your prints come out sharp, vibrant, and ready to press.

Properly formatted artwork allows us to produce high-quality DTF transfers with clean edges, accurate colors, and professional results.

Recommended File Format

For the best print quality, we recommend uploading your artwork as:

PNG files with a transparent background at 300 DPI resolution.

Accepted file types may include:

  • PNG (Recommended)

  • PDF

  • High-resolution JPG

However, PNG with a transparent background provides the best results for DTF printing because it prevents unwanted backgrounds from appearing around your design.

Resolution Requirements

To achieve crisp and detailed prints, artwork should be created at 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the final print size.

Low-resolution images may result in:

  • Blurry prints

  • Pixelation

  • Loss of detail

If your image appears blurry on your screen, it will likely print blurry as well. Always upload high-resolution artwork sized correctly before submitting your order.

Transparent Background

All artwork should have a transparent background unless a background color is intentionally part of the design.

Avoid uploading files with:

  • White boxes around the design

  • Background colors that are not part of the artwork

  • Screenshots or images copied from websites

Transparent PNG files ensure that only your design is printed onto the garment.

Correct Artwork Size

Your artwork should be sized to the exact dimensions you want printed.

For example:

  • Left chest logo: typically 3–4 inches wide

  • Full front design: typically 10–12 inches wide

  • Sleeve prints: typically 3–4 inches wide

If artwork is uploaded too small and then enlarged, the design may lose quality. Always create your artwork at the correct final print size.

Color Guidelines

DTF printing supports full-color designs, including gradients and highly detailed artwork.

For best results:

  • Use RGB color mode

  • Avoid extremely dark shadows that may blend together

  • Ensure colors have enough contrast

Gang Sheet Preparation

When creating a DTF gang sheet, you can place multiple designs on one sheet to maximize space and reduce cost.

  • Ensure designs are not overlapping
